The book starts with exercises for developing a sensitive awareness of a client's body, breathing, intention, and movement. That is the foundation for exercises which teach how to use touch as a precise and rapid way of helping clients become aware of problematic strategies for being in their own bodies and of the imbalances that these strategies maintain. The book goes on to teach hands-on methods for helping clients enhance their body awareness, balance, and centering. Also included are chapters on the underlying methodology of Being In Movement® mindbody education and on the sources which influenced its creation.
