AIKIDO is a non-violent Japanese martial art. Its defense techniques consist primarily of joint locks and throws. It offers a humane method of self-protection as well as body and energy awareness training, exercise and relaxation. At Aikido of Columbus, a primary focus in the practice is personal transformation. We offer classes for (Watch Video) children from the ages of 7 - 14 and adults (Watch Video). For articles and a book on Aikido by Paul Linden, go to the BOOKS and ARTICLES pages.

SPECIAL OFFER: It takes time to understand what Aikido has to offer and decide whether the art is right for you. Because of this, we would like to invite adults who are interested in our approach to Aikido to practice with us for free for one week.
